Cottage Cheese Pretzel Bites
Bringing you a higher-protein, lower-calorie version of the warm, buttery deliciousness that is everyone’s favorite bar snack: pretzel bites.
Take me to a local brewery and chances are, I will be ordering the warm pretzel bites. Chances are also… I’ll feel incredibly terrible afterward. So, I wanted to create a version that still gives you that soft, buttery, salty pretzel bite vibe — but with more protein, fewer calories, and ingredients you probably already have on hand.
These pretzel bites are made with just cottage cheese, flour, baking powder, egg, and butter. They’re simple to make, super filling, and pair perfectly with honey mustard — I love G Hughes — or your favorite cheese dip. Each serving has 16g of protein, making them the perfect snack when you want something cozy, satisfying, and a little more macro-friendly.
